First connection
Add a subscription, choose a server and connect on Windows, macOS, Android and Android TV.
You need a subscription link from your provider.
Windows and macOS
- On the first run, Add a subscription opens. Paste the link into Subscription link and click Continue. On macOS a paste button sits next to the empty field.
- On the Home screen choose how to connect with the chip under the power button: System proxy (default), TUN or Local proxy. See Operating modes.
- Optionally open Proxies and pick a server.
- Click the power button. The status goes Connecting…, then Connected.
iPhone
- On the first screen, Add a subscription, tap the paste button inside the field (the app never reads the clipboard by itself) and tap Continue. You can also tap QR code to scan a subscription code, or From file.
- Open Proxies to choose a server or a mode, or leave the automatic choice.
- On Home, tap the connection button. The first time, confirm the system request to add the Letakof VPN configuration.
Disconnecting is the same button, or the VPN switch in Settings → VPN.
Android
- Paste the link into Subscription link (the clipboard icon pastes for you) and tap Add subscription. You can also use Scan QR or From file.
- Optionally open Proxies to choose a server or a mode.
- On Home, tap the power button. The first time, confirm Android’s VPN permission dialog.
You can also connect from the notification, the quick settings tile or the widget.
Android TV
- The first screen, Add a subscription from your phone, shows a QR code. The phone and the TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
- On a phone with Letakof, open Settings → TV activation and point the camera at the code.
- Confirm Send. The TV downloads the profile itself.
- Choose a server on the TV and press connect.
Without a local network, type the link with the remote and select Add subscription. A profile imported from a file cannot be sent to a TV.
