Installation

Install Letakof on Windows, macOS, Android and Android TV.

Download Letakof from the Download section of the home page. Each button downloads the latest stable release from GitHub Releases.

Windows

Run the installer and confirm the administrator prompt. If Microsoft Edge WebView2 is missing, the installer sets it up first, which needs internet. The installer also registers the letakof:// links and a helper service for TUN mode, so TUN does not ask for confirmation on every connection.

If Windows SmartScreen warns about an unrecognised app, check that the file came from this site and continue with More info.

macOS

Open the disk image and move Letakof to Applications. The app is not notarized by Apple; if macOS refuses to open it, choose Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security, or Control-click the app and choose Open.

iPhone

Install Letakof from its App Store page (the link will appear on the home page when it is published). It needs iOS 26 or later. On the first connection iOS asks to allow adding a VPN configuration named Letakof; confirm it with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. The camera is asked for only when you scan a QR code. After that, Letakof appears under Settings → VPN.

Updates come through the App Store.

Android

Open the APK and allow installing from your browser or file manager when Android asks. On the first connection Android asks to allow a VPN connection; confirm it. On Android 13 and later Letakof also asks to show notifications.

Android TV

Android TV has its own file, not the phone one. Install it the way you install apps outside the store, for example from a USB drive. It is controlled with the remote; see First connection for adding a subscription.

Updates

Letakof checks for updates about once a day (Android: when the app opens; iPhone: through the App Store). You can turn this off or check manually in Settings → About. An update is installed only after you confirm it.
