General settings

Subscription and HWID options, appearance, language, updates and the tray or menu bar icon.

The Settings page opens with a card for the active subscription (name, last update, traffic, expiry date, provider links) followed by the groups below. Names are as they appear on Windows and macOS; Android names differ slightly and are noted. For iPhone see iPhone settings.

Subscription and HWID

Setting Default What it does
Send HWID On Sends the device identifier and three device headers when Letakof requests a subscription. Turn it off and none of the four headers is sent; providers that limit devices will then refuse the request. See Device identifier (HWID).
HWID Shows the current value. Copy HWID copies it, for example to give to your provider.
Refresh interval (Android: Update interval) Provider default How often the profile is updated. Stored per subscription and kept when the profile updates.
Delete subscription Removes the profile, the chosen servers and the custom rules of that subscription. If it was the last one, the add-subscription screen opens.

Refresh interval options: Provider default (the interval from the profile-update-interval header, or 24 hours if the provider sends none), Manual only, Every hour, Every 3 / 6 / 12 / 24 / 48 / 72 hours, Weekly. The check runs when the app opens.

Appearance

Setting Default Options
Accent (Windows) Windows accent Windows accent (your system accent colour), Mint, Blue, Violet, Pink
Accent (macOS) Mint Mint, Blue, Violet, Pink, Custom color
Language System default System default, Русский, English

Windows and macOS use a single dark theme. On Android the theme follows the system (light or dark); Material You colors (on by default on Android 12 and later, not on Android TV) take the palette from your wallpaper, otherwise you pick an accent: Mint (default), Blue, Violet or Pink. Android also has Notification controls, which adds a Connect button to the notification while the VPN is off.

About and updates

About shows the app version, the Mihomo core version and your operating system.

Setting Default Notes
Check for updates automatically On Windows (installed version only) and macOS check about once a day; Android checks once a day when you open the app.
Check for updates Checks now. Installing an update always asks for your confirmation.

Updates come from the project’s update feed, one per platform. The portable Windows build has no updater.

Tray and menu bar

Windows shows a tray icon and macOS a menu bar icon with Connect / Disconnect, Open Letakof, Check for Updates… and Quit. On Android there are a home screen widget, a quick settings tile and a notification with a Disconnect button (phone only).
